I've been a journalist and travel writer since 2000-ish. Don't ask me how it happened - it was mainly a mix of luck and sending off enough annoying e-mails. I'm based in central London (most of the time), but I'm from The North, and I spend as much time as possible in the south of the US. I'm dabbling with other writing - fiction, scripts, commercial copywriting - as well as photography, documentary film-making and ordering my supermarket shopping online.
