First of all, thank you for reading, it's sincerely appreciated. I'm raising money so that I can go to Sierra Leone this autumn and volunteer. I'm aiming to stay for three weeks to work at a local NGO, providing medical services to some of the poorest and most afflicted people in the world. I will be living in basic accommodations, and helping the doctors and medical staff with the day-to-day running of their clinic. I'll mostly be doing menial tasks, manual and clerical, and helping with whatever logistical needs that they have on the ground. I'm aiming to raise £2,000-3,000 to cover travel, vaccines and accommodation costs. Any surplus will be donated directly to the NGO. I sincerely appreciate any donations, no matter how small.
