I DON'T BELIEVE WE LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE WHAT GOES AROUND ACTUALLY DOES COME AROUND

I’ve kissed goodbye to kismet
My faith in fate’s gone fatal
My cynicism about destiny
It verges on pre-natal
I’ve tried reading my horoscope
It didn’t help me cope with the horrors
Of a universe that doesn’t care about
Who lends to humanity and who just borrows
I ‘d love to take my karma like my coffee
Instant and strong
And poured directly onto the astonished faces
Of those who’ve done me wrong
But I don’t have complete faith
In a fair and balanced life
Destructive influences flourish
And hateful people thrive
I’m confounded by cosmic payback
It’s mysterious like Stone Henge
So to be safe I’m going to do it myself
And by ‘it’ I mean: exact my swift, bloody and merciless revenge.
